Radical Hill, Colorado
Off Road Jeep Tour & Photo Tour

R

For those seeking an adrenaline-pumping, off-road adventure, look no further than Radical Hill in Colorado. This challenging jeep trail offers breathtaking views and photographic opportunities that will take your breath away.

During the ascent, we will encounter lush wildflower meadows and crystal-clear mountain streams formed from the snowmelt. The late summer months, typically mid-July to August, offer the best opportunity for photographing wildflowers. Enjoy a picnic lunch while relaxing amidst the blooms and hone your macro photography skills.

Abundant Wildlife

Be on the lookout for mountain goats, marmots, eagles, pika, and weasels as they are common in the area. Keep your camera ready for a once-in-a-lifetime photo opportunity.

World-Class Views

As we make our way up the trail, the world-class views start to unfold before us. The trail starts at around 11,000 feet and reaches 13,000+ feet at the top, offering an unforgettable experience on clear days. Even when the weather turns, the views become even more beautiful. At the top, the sunset is a must-see for all visitors.

Not for the Faint of Heart

Radical Hill is not for the faint of heart as the trail features steep drops and rough terrain. Those who are afraid of heights or uncomfortable with rough roads and large side drop-offs might find the experience overwhelming.

Access to the trail is typically available from mid to late June until late September. However, it’s worth noting that the Webster and Red Cone passes that lead to Radical Hill are at very high elevations, and the trail remains packed with snow until later in the summer.

Radical Hill in Colorado is the perfect destination for off-road & photography enthusiasts who seek adventure and incredible views. With abundant wildlife and beautiful wildflowers, visitors will not be disappointed.
