The panoramic view of the Green River and surrounding landscape is an excellent subject for landscape photography. The ever-changing light conditions throughout the day offer a variety of opportunities to experiment with different lighting and shadow effects. With that said dawn and late evening are always going to be best. Once the shadows have overtaken the canyons below you can wait around for another hour to capture the sunset. This is one of the best sunset viewing areas in the park. Still want more? Stick around for nightfall and do a little night landscape photography (canyons by moonlight maybe?).
