With that said dawn and late evening are always going to be best. Once the shadows have overtaken the canyons below you can wait around for another hour to capture the sunset. This is one of the best sunset viewing areas in the park. Still want more? Stick around for nightfall and do a little night landscape photography (canyons by moonlight maybe?).
